Live professional
performances of great music are available to us and our community
because of years of dedication and hard work by musicians and
volunteers. 75% of the annual budget goes directly to musicians who
perform in our concerts and educational programs. Only a fraction of
that cost is covered by the income from ticket sales.
Community sponsorship is essential in continuing this unique and special
Western New York heritage. Your contribution is valued not only for the
dollars it provides, but also as a commitment to cultural excellence in
our community.

When you contribute to the Western New York Chamber Orchestra, you make it possible for a professional, not-for-profit musical organization to exist in our community. Established in 1981 by Executive Director James East, the orchestra has been dedicated to the highest standards of artistic excellence and community service. WNYCO provides outstanding concert performances and educational programs for audiences of all ages, providing us with the same programs as any orchestra in a major city—classical, pops and youth concerts, and in-school programs.
